Settled in Changhua
After completing his military service, Master A-fa began to reflect carefully on starting his own business. In order to find a suitable location, Master A-fa asked the gods in Anxi Temple, Taixi Township, Yunlin County where he was born, for instructions. He also went to the popular Changhua Nanyao Temple for instructions from gods. Master A-fa asked all the temples in the counties and cities in Taiwan from north to south, except for those in Hualien and Taitung, and finally the gods instructed him to start a business in Changhua. Since the gods enshrined in two temples gave the same instructions, Master A-fa decided to settle in Changhua.
