Master A-fa was born in Taisi Township (Yunlin County) and has been interested in painting, sculpture, and clay sculpture since his childhood. Since his home was close to a temple, he had many opportunities to see exquisite carvings and paintings of gods, feel the majesty of the gods up close, and listen to traditional operas and religious stories.
